There have been three generations of Roomba Vacuum Cleaners, each new one having more improved features. The first Roomba Vacuum Cleaner has truly revolutionized vacuum cleaners even with its limited capabilities while its succeeding model was built with better features and upgraded software. It calculates room size and can detect dirt. This was also the first Roomba machine that is able to charge by itself. The third generation, on the other hand, was introduced at the year 2007. It retained the second generation Roomba’s features and is accompanied with its own. One of which is the infrared sensors that can sense obstacles. Other aspects include a set of improved mechanical parts and a dock button.
